![]() ![]() I unplugged the ignition wire and tested the spade connector on the wire and no voltage there either. I verified voltage at the connector, and using a test light, I verified voltage in wire immediately after the connector (to rule out a bad connection).īUT-there was not voltage at the ignition switch. There's a power wire coming off the solenoid that goes to the switch, with a connector in between. I verified 12.4 volts at the starter solenoid. I verified battery voltage-12.4 volts at both terminals as well as grounding to the frame. I checked the ground connection at the frame (tight and clean) and the positive connection at the starter (also tight and clean). I cleaned the battery posts and cable ends with a post cleaner and then sprayed an anti-corrosive on them. ![]() ![]() I just dropped the ignition switch out and there was plenty of slack in the wires that it's just dangling beneath the dash giving me full easy access. ![]()
